Princess Birgitta of Sweden and PR Executive Olga Lallerstedt de Bestard invite celebrities and business people from all over the world to Princess Birgitta's Golf Cup every year in September at Golf Santa Ponca in Mallorca. Every year in May the course celebrates the Poland Cup too.
Magic Mediterranean Events can arrange for a limited number of clients to join Princess Birgitta's yearly S.A.R Trophy and Poland Cup as well as other tournaments at Golf Santa Ponca. Famous participants such as Princess Frida (formerly the singer Annifrid Lyngstad of ABBA), join the fun on and off the golf course. Peace, History and Fame
At the turn of the first millennium Jews, Moslems and Christians lived in peace side by side in the Roman city Palma de Mallorca for three hundred years. Many beautiful buildings from different periods are still standing, a few of them as Palace Hotels, and the memory of what that time stood for is still celebrated.
The composer Frédéric Chopin and his beloved, the French authoress George Sand, came to Palma de Mallorca in the 1830's because of Chopin's consumption. The pair lived together in the mountain village of Valldemossa in Mallorca. Ever since, people like Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, Erroll Flynn, Ava Gardner, Peter Ustinov, Claudia Schiffer, Boris Becker, Annie Lennox, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon have fallen in love with Mallorca and the Mediterranean.
The French Riviera
Artists such as Picasso, Cézanne and Van Gogh have lived here. Mystics like Nostradamus were inspired by the Provencal countryside. Royalty and famous people from all over the world have made the French Riviera their second home. And with 3,900 events each year every day on the Côte d’Azur is a celebration. The Cannes Film Festival goes back 60 years and the tradition of arranging top class events on the French Riviera is even older.
