The Romans loved Mallorcan wine and shipped it all over the empire. Much later Shakespeare fell in love with it. Tasting Provence

Provence is a generous and inviting winegrowing region, dating back 2600 years to when the Phoenicians founded Marseille. Later monastic orders cultivated a wine appreciated by kings. As we fall in love with the spectacular countryside we pick and choose among the sixty Côtes de Provence winegrowers who share their history and passion with us. Festivals like the Medieval festival in Château-Neuf-du-Pape on the first Sunday of August or the first Côtes du Rhône festival on the third Thursday in November in Avignon, are delightful to attend. We enjoy exquisite gourmet meals and tastings in lovely wine châteaux such as Château de Vaudieu and Château des Fines Roches.
